into the groove.
Everybody knows I am a huge Keith Haring fan. This past year I missed Madonna's Sticky and Sweet Tour and I wanted to go because in one segment of her show she had a tribute to Keith. A video wall installation of the late Keith Haring would have been amazing to see. 20 years after his death, his art is still relevant and current as if was still 1989. Here's what I missed.
iFelt case.

Here are some pics of my new Ipod case available soon at lines by: davis. It's made out of industrial felt and printed with one of my swirl prints. It fits an Ipod Touch or a 3G Iphone. Great and durable for Ipod users who love FELT!

i miss you tom ford.

I had to take my glasses in for repairs today and I was forced to go back to my old ones. What a difference it makes when you can't see anything. My old ones are old and I can barely see anything cause they've been beat up and scratched. I will hopefully be reunited with my Tom Ford glasses. I will have to settle with Chanel for now.
what's to come.

I am finally finished my final design for my Ipod case. I was going to do add all these things to it but I thought it would defeat the purpose of having a slim carrying case. I will be posting pics of it soon. I have also been working on new bag designs which I am excited about. My new collection will be transitioning towards a more streamlined look. I have been obsessed with geometric shapes and "lines" and my sister sent me a picture of a bag that reminded her of my new drawing. I still don't know where she found it.

karlie kloss.

I probably have a crop full of models that I love, but I think Karlie Kloss is one of the most underrated models. Underrated, I mean by that she is not overexposed and seen in every campaign or editorials. She is still pretty successful with runway shows and campaigns and is ranked only #20 on models.com. I first saw her on the cover of a February 2007 cover of Teen Vogue and I wondered who she was. I soon discovered this leggy American was only a mere 15 years old doing an editorial in the magazine. I followed her ever since and in two years she's been working the runway and showing in many campaigns. In a crop of "up and coming" girls, Karlie has remained one those girls who will hopefully stick around for many seasons to come.

Marc by: Marc Jacobs - Spring 2004 RTW
Alexander McQueen - Spring 2009 RTW
Hussein Chalayan - Spring 2003 RTW
Lanvin Spring - 2009 RTW
Balenciaga - Spring 2009 RTW
I was going through style.com and I thought I put together a mix of my favourite designers and looks from different collections. They range from collections from 2003 - 2009. Oddly enough my favourite looks were from the 2004 collections and they all seem to be from Spring RTW collections which probably means Spring is on my mind. There are so many designers that inspire me but these are probably up there on my list.
Gareth Pugh - Spring 2009 RTW

nature calls.

Seems like every Friday I get to enjoy my morning americano at Dark Horse. I am literally obsessed! I am very excited about their west end location and how the space is amazing. Yes, I am secretly stalking them. Adam and I decided to venture out to the McMichael gallery up in Kleinburg, Ontario which is a very cute town. We took the dogs for a nice walk around the grounds and I spotted the Bill Vazan sculpture which was cool cause it reminded me of Keith Haring. Although it wasn't painted like Keith would've done the carving in the stone was neat. As Spring approaches I can't wait for more nature adventures.
