lines at home.

I've been working on a tentative title but I think this works.  lines at home will be my new collection of home decor items.  I've been actually making a lot of pillows for my home lately and to sell so I've been pretty good and fast at whipping up pillows.  As you know, I've been experimenting with different items and I think that I will be working hard to come up with a cohesive home collection.  It will have simplistic lines, shapes and graphics that will compliment my home items.  Right now, I will be sourcing new fabrics, drawings and designs in the up coming weeks.  Stay tuned for new photos and I hope you guys will enjoy my home products.  The cat pillow is not dead, there will be a re-vamped version soon.

9 lives.

Thanks to all who brave the crazy monsoon rain yesterday for Sunday's craft show in Kensington.  It was a really wet day on and off but I am happy to say that my cat pillows are officially gone.  I will be re-sizing the pillow and maybe be adding different animals.  I have been doing this design since the start and it seems to always make a comeback in production.  Stay tuned.

the september issue.

I am soooooo excited for this.  I hope this gives a better inside look into Vogue and Anna Wintours than the 60 Minutes segment.  I found they focused too much on The Devil Wears Prada and other fillers that stayed away from the fashion and the drama.  We'll see!

last minute sale.

Come out this SUNDAY JULY 26th from 12PM - 6PM to Kid Icarus' street sale on Nassau Street in the heart of Kensington Market.  Streets will be closed off to cars so come down and take a stroll and check out some of my summer sale goods.  

home again.

I had a low key birthday this year in the country and it was wonderful.  My sister and the gang came down for the day to hang out in the country which was really nice.  We showed them some of our hot spots in the county and hopefully they will come back and see more of the country side.  On my birthday I had a delicious breakfast at my favourite spot in Picton and we cruised around scouting more vintage wares.  Along the way we FINALLY found the infamous Jamie Kennedy fry stand we were desperately looking for last summer so I was happy.  It was closed but I was so determined last summer to find it that I called it the french fry mirage stand because I didn't think it was real.  It was an amazing year and I'm hoping for big things this year to happen so watch out!

It's my birthday today!  Another year older so I will leave it at that.  It's my birthday so this makes me really happy.  Watch it, enjoy and pass it along.  See you when I get back from the country.

out and about.

Taking off to the cottage for my birthday.  See you when I get back and show you some cute vintage goods and pictures.  Stay tuned.  Here is on my favorite summer traditions at the cottage.  The drive-in, this vintage 2 screen drive-in is on of my faves to visit every summer.  The $2 fries are my fave in the canteen.  I had to endure two and a half hours of explosions and Megan Fox running in slow motion watching the sequel to Transformers.

country time.

I thought it was funny when a lady asked us if we wanted our picture taken in front of this scenic country background.  She probably thought what was I trying to take a picture of?  She was polite and nice about it, that's the country for ya.

rope totes.

Here is a shot of my Rope Tote bags on display at the Bookhou Shop this month.  I enjoyed experimenting with leather and I really love this shape as you probably know.  Check out the show if you haven't already which is on until the end of the month.

I've just moved but I've been leaving the city to go to the cottage.  Although it's been a cooler summer I still enjoy being out of the city.

I'm alive!  It's been awhile since I wrote on here and there's been a few things that has been going on since my last post.  

1.  I've been in BELL HELL for the last 7 days and I am currently posting this blog at a downtown Starbucks a'la Carrie Bradshaw circa 2001.
